Lunchtime Pilates to energize and invigorate the mind and body.
Enjoy outdoor pilates at The Retreat, a lovely peaceful setting within Stockley Park.
Pilates teacher Shivani Kalra will take you through the benefits of the exercise:
- It strengthens the deep stabilising muscles of the spine which support you in daily life activities
- A stronger core means fewer instances of aches, pains and injuries as we age
- A more lean and toned physique with postural awareness without adding bulk
- Effective for arthritis /menopause/ osteoporosis-related issues as it is easy on joints and strengthens bones
- Helps tone the pelvic floor which is the base of the core thus helping manage incontinence related issues.
- Mind and body coordination/relaxation.
Please note each class is capped to a maximum of 12 attendees.
