Stockley Park will be organising a number of activities and events over the coming year to support our chosen charity. We hope that all those that visit the park will get involved and make a positive difference to our local hospitals.
The charity funds practical improvements for patients at Hillingdon Hospitals, just north of Heathrow Airport, and its sister hospital, Mount Vernon in Northwood. It helps to transform the hospital environment, develop hospital staff & volunteers, and support innovation right here in Hillingdon to help make the best possible healthcare available to you, and to future generations.
Here are three examples of areas where our fundraising can make a huge difference:
The purchase additional equipment for expanding the children’s wards and new paediatric A&E department, to provide care for very unwell children, over and above what would normally be possible.
To provide foldable guest beds on a number of the wards to allow more family members, partners, or carers of patients are able to stay comfortably overnight in the hospital.
To purchase significantly improved vital signs monitoring equipment for the A&E department. This equipment will mean patients in our emergency department will be monitored on the very latest, most effective systems possible.
We want to support the Hillingdon Hospitals Charity, so they can make a positive impact for their patients and families, now and in the future.
They aim to raise and spend over £1m per year by 2020 on improvements for patients at their hospitals.
We want to make contact with people and organisations of all sizes at Stockley Park who would like to help.
