Brunel University Job Fair
Brunel University’s annual Local Jobs Fair is still going ahead but this year, virtually. The fair will take place on Wednesday 10th March 2021, 11am-4pm via the Career Fair Plus platform.
The Local Jobs Fair provides employers who are actively recruiting for roles within the local area, the opportunity to engage with hundreds of students seeking local opportunities.
This is a great chance to virtually meet students, promote your roles and build on your brand profile.
Employers will be promoting a range of vacancies including part-time work, summer internships, placements, and graduate roles.
Virtual career fairs are online ‘events’ that allow employers and students to meet in a virtual environment. This is done via group meetings, which are drop-in based and replicates a similar digital environment to the normal in-person fairs and offers a number of advantages to both students and employers!
We will be working with Career Fair Plus to host our upcoming virtual career fair, to create an intuitive, user-friendly experience for students and exhibitors. Students have used the platform a few times now and understand how it works.
Once you have completed the fair registration form, we will use the details that you include on your booking form to create your organisation’s profile on the App, which will be available for students to view. When your profile has been set up you will be contacted by Careers Fair Plus with details on how to register on the Careers Fair Plus Platform. The group meetings are essentially integrated video chat rooms (similar to Zoom, MS Teams, Google Hangout etc). You also have the ability to share your screen and use a chat box.
It is up to you how many colleagues you would like to participate in the event.
There cost to participate in this event is £100 and the following features will be available:
- Your organisation’s profile featured on the CFP app – exposure to hundreds of students. Your profile will feature information that you include on the booking form below so please make sure you include detailed information about your company, the opportunities you are looking to promote, link to your website and videos etc.
- Integrated video chat room allowing you to speak to 50 people at one time. Please note the drop-in function will need to be monitored by someone throughout the duration of the fair.
- Promotion – featured in all fair promo in the build-up to the fair including weekly e-shots to students, posts on student intranet events pages and social media.
