12 days of Fitness with Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I (SBF GB&I)
The maker of Lucozade is giving its employees and other local businesses access to free online fitness classes.
In the run-up to Christmas, Stockley Park’s Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I (SBF GB&I), who make Lucozade Energy and Lucozade Sport, is encouraging local businesses to join them on a 12 Days of Fitness Challenge.
From today the drinks company will release one 15-minute workout per day over a 12-day period and is inviting other businesses to share images of their employees taking part using #12DaysofFitness on social media.
Created by Lucozade Sport and the nation’s PTs, the videos have been designed for people of all abilities to fit in around their work schedule and will be made available on SBF GB&I’s YouTube channel.
For a daily dose of dance, HIIT, yoga and more, people can either subscribe to this channel or access the daily link on SBF GB&I’s social media channels.
The challenge is a continuation of a number of keep fit initiatives the company has run through lockdown including PiYo classes (a blend of Pilates and yoga) delivered by SBF GB&I’s Transformation Director, Nicola Pegg.
Nicola comments:
“Throughout lockdown we have seen the real benefit of putting on classes internally for our employees, giving them the chance to exercise in a way they may not have experienced before. All of our lives have changed and we’ve had to find new ways to keep a healthy body and mind. We know this will be particularly challenging in the run-up to a Christmas that will look very different for everyone this year.”
“We wanted to ensure our colleagues are keeping a healthy body and mind over the next few weeks as well as providing a way of connecting with others who are also taking part in the challenge. This is why we are encouraging all of our colleagues to take part and we want as many employees from local businesses as possible to join us for the SBF GB&I 12 Days of Fitness!”
