GSK Biodiversity lunchtime walk
A biodiversity walk was organised and lead by Stockley Park landscapers for a lunchtime walk with GSK staff on Wednesday 24 May, to spread the word on the good works being done at Stockley Park. On a beautifully sunny day, there were almost 40 walkers waiting to hear all about the tree and shrub life on the Park, bee hives, the life of a queen bee, stag beetle, stumperiers, bee orchids, to mention just a few topics covered during the 50 minute walk.
Simon from Stockley Park landscapers and the team were very willing to answer any questions walkers had and the feedback on the walk has been very positive.
Quote from GSK staff: ‘we look forward to the next walk. Strolling around the Park is always a pleasure but even more so when you learn such interesting facts on the world around us’.
